i caved in and finally bought a flip phone after about a year of wanting one. my relationship with my phone wasn't too terrible, the main thing taking up my screen time was discord (where i talk to my friends), but i still felt yucky carrying around the damn thing all the time because there was still that subconscious itch to reach for my phone every minute or so. my frequent past time would be to click through the few discord servers im in without even reading what the messages said. just clearing the notification gave me some kind of dopamine. but now, after a week of having a flip phone, i can confidently say: im addicted to the computer! yay!

in all seriousness i think accessing the internet through the computer is much more healthy because 1, it's easier (at least for me) to not scroll on the social medias and 2, the internet is a place you visit and cant take around with you. maybe this is just addiction creating a justification but i rolls my eyes at you.

however, havinga flip phone is sooooooo soosooooo nice for going out of the house. i can just. live. without having the entire world in my pocket. it feels so much lighter (emotionally and physically and also like spiritually and all the other planes of existence). also on my puter i be straight up creating it. and by it. hahash. lets jusr say my webbedsite. yes, i spend time intentionally looking through people's sites and reading their pages and stuff. and making mine of course. not scrolling mindlessly through pinterest (i do still use it when im actually looking for something) or any other social media, which i did quit like a year ago, but i would still visit the website occasionally. but anyways IM FREE OF THAT EVIL MACHINE!!!! and my new machine, i love her so very much, she is horrendous to type on, i love it. she has maps that work after the app crashes 4 times! and she scans qr codes! yeah there are so many features i didnt expect it to have but they are all very handy dandy. also you can access youtube shorts but they's a nightmare to use. it takes like 5 minutes to get to them anyways LOLllolo

This blog is going to be set up quite a bit differently than the last one for the sake of ease and pretties ^_^. how it's going to work is that each month will have its separate tab, but all the blog posts 4 that month will be in 1 scrollbox. i personally like scrolling through people's blog posts instead of clicking thru them. i dont think i will add my old blog posts to here in order to keep this one fresh and free of standards.. although there are a few posts i like so i will reconsider. i may also treat this like a microblog as i tend to have short, random, thoughts rather than long thought out pieces of pondering.

oh also i think this blog layout will get me to actually write more posts, becuz previously i had to make a new html file with each new post and that was kind of a nuisance. but now i can write everything in the same file and probably cause a whole bunch of lag! teehee teehee

edit later in the day: well turns out when you delete files off of neocities it also deletes it off of your computer....... so all my old blog posts are gone (there were only like 5), but i wont be reuploading any of them i gues T_T lesson learned T_T
